It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt welcome to the official website of the West Bengal College and University Professors’ Association (WBCUPA). Inspired by the positive vision of Smt. Mamata Banerjee, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, WBCUPA has, since its inception, been a pivotal force in shaping the academic landscape of our state, representing the interests of our esteemed professors and educators in higher education, as well as students across the state.

The launch of this website marks an important milestone in WBCUPA’s ongoing journey. It will serve as a platform to inform, engage, and strengthen the academic community. Through this site, the objectives, functions, and daily activities of the association will be shared, enabling us all to stay informed and connected.

The role of educators is crucial in the development of society, and our government remains committed to supporting and empowering the academic fraternity. The association’s dedication to improving the working conditions, rights, and recognition of professors is commendable, and I have full confidence that this initiative will help create a more cohesive and productive environment in our educational institutions.
